White dresses are tricky, especially in the monsoons. But I refuse to sit draped in blacks all day, my dresses aren’t going to match this gloomy weather.
So if you pick a white dress too, make sure its got texture, not only will it hide water stains but food stains too !! This one here is from New Look Fashion, from TataCliq.
When I wear dresses to work, I want to keep it simple and light. The dress is already going to catch a few raised eyebrows, lets not be in denial of the indian workspace. Keeping that in mind, I tend to accessorize minimally. So no necklaces, just your simple earrings and a watch.
Even though the dress looks like it’s completely lace, it is neither too delicate nor completely see through. It has a nice body-tone layer underneath, so don’t worry about it being too risqué
Since I want to carry this look into the night too, I pick a big enough (is it ever really big enough??) bag to fit in the add-ons to my next outfit.
See the cute little dance I am doing there ? Yeah, that’s when my heel sank right into the gap in the stones. Though those heels didn’t even get a scratch, big win for Forever 21.
After work, dressing down for a more casual affair can be quite difficult. I already fit the world in my bags, and don’t fancy carrying extra changes of clothes. Here, I have added just a denim shirt over it and little sparkly necklace, cause evening’s need that touch of glamour.
Yes, glamour even if all you end up doing is drinking milkshake ! And damn fine milkshake at that !
I didn’t change the heels, but I did change my watch. Denim and brown watches just go really well together.
Was trying MAC’s Ruby Woo, isn’t my favourite red for my skin tone, doesn’t give the added glowy skin that darker (blue toned ) lipsticks give.
